Meet our Staff At I-CAN, Inc. we pride ourselves on providing the highest level staff and staff training. Our staff of caregivers, behavior anlaysts, Supported Living Coaches, and Supported Employment Coaches receive ongoing training and updated screenings on a continual basis. We choose our staff from among the top staff in the area and are constantly developing new staff into leaders among their peers. All of our staff are fingerprinted and Level II background screened through the state and FBI registries Staff must obtain local background screenings Staff members are supervised by I-CAN management staff and receive ongoing training through the state and other private agencies (see below)
(Click on links to the right for more information about our staff) Our Staff receive Training in: All staff receive training in Abuse and Neglect prevention and reporting, Introduction to Developmental Disabilities, Core Competencies, People First Language, Health Insurance Privacy and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and much more. Our staff of Certified Associate Behavior Analysts (BCaBA) and behavior assistants, who are overseen by Dr. Jenk and Zachary Houston, are also trained in Professional Crisis Management (PCM) for crisis intervention. Our Primary Care Assistants receive training in basic behavior intervention, medication management, and community inclusion.
